Decontamination and Waste Treatment (DWT)

The Decontamination facility of NRG is fully equiped to remove radioactive contamination from all kinds of materials. The decontaminated objects can be released for unlimited use, thus enabling cost-effective reuse of materials.

Services

A variety of techniques can be applied, depending on the nature of the contamination and the properties of object that will receive a treatment:

• high pressure cleaning (water)
• chemical treatment
• glass bead treatment
• electrolytic treatment
• ultra-sonic treatment

Decontamination is performed on our site but if needed also on the site of the client.
