Licensing Support

Individuals, government agencies and businesses which apply and work with ionising radiation or are engaged in transport must notify or apply for a licence from the ANVS, the Authority for Nuclear Safety and Radiation. This concerns the ionising radiation from X-ray equipment, radioactive substances, nuclear fuels, ores and/or natural sources.

NRG has extensive experience in licence applications and radiation risk analyses, for example. We perform these activities for operators of nuclear facilities (see Safety & Risk) as well as for organisations and companies in the medical sector and the process and oil & gas industries.

Depending on your application, you must either make a notification or apply for a licence. In both cases, a radiation risk analysis is required prior to the submission.

NRG assists organisations in applications for a Nuclear Energy Act licence (Kernenergiewetvergunning), making a notification and performing the required risk analyses.
