NRG is an internationally operating nuclear service provider. The company produces isotopes, conducts nuclear technological research, is a consultant on the safety and reliability of nuclear installations and provides services related to radiation protection. Research is performed for governments aimed at developing knowledge about nuclear technology.

Its 600 employees are expert and innovative. The company works for and with partners in healthcare, the energy market, industry, government and science. NRG has several nuclear installations and operates the European Union’s High Flux Reactor.

The business offers challenging work in various disciplines: marketing and sales, safety and the environment, engineering, physics, human resources and project management. The knowledge and skills that NRG needs may lie at various levels: secondary vocational (MBO), higher professional (HBO) or university level.

NRG employs reactor physicists alongside operators, sales staff, radiation experts, consultants, secretaries, HR advisers, safety officers and fitters. The business also has its own fire service. NRG regularly requires expertise in various fields. Due to the international markets in which NRG operates, it has staff and placement students with nationalities other than Dutch. This guarantees a varied workforce.
